wedding recap... 47 weddings - whew!!!

commentator: ed

this year alone, we shot 47 weddings. that's only weddings, we're not including engagement sessions, family sessions and everything in between. it was a very busy year to say the least and i have no idea how we did it. 2009 is looking to be as busy with currently 25 weddings already in the books and counting.

before i show you guys some cool wedding photos, i would like to take this time to thank my loving wife monica for everything she's done because in all honesty, this business wouldn't be with out her.

monica, i love you and again, thank you.

to all our brides... thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. it really means a lot to me because you're letting us be part of one of your most special day. a wedding is something that is very personal and i really am very humbled that you have chosen us to be part of it.

i'm sure that monica would like to thank each and everyone of you for feeding her a slice of cake as well. =)

kindly please enjoy the photos of 2008 and a few of my all time faves. =)

featured on rocktographers: "rings & blings, oh my!" update

commentator: monica

we're featured on "rocktographers," an affiliate website of modern photgraphers, of which we're very fortunate to be a member of! the rocktographers website showcases creative images of those symbolic circles of commitment couples spend so much time searching for. as much as the dress, shoes, flowers should be photographed on your wedding day, these items should also be a focal point in your photographs, even if they'll adorn your hands everyday for the rest of your lives. they definitely deserve that kind of attention when they're still brand spankin' new and not banged up from daily wear! and remember, once on your finger, keep that sucker on! =)

FEATURED: pocket wizard website - woo hoo!!!

commentator: ed

we just got word that some of our images got featured on the pocket wizard website. this is huge considering how big the company is and how many photographers use these products world-wide. we're basically representing the wedding photographers who use off-camera lighting. check out the screen grab. woo hoo!!!

oh, and they hooked it up with 4 pocket wizard transceivers, which ironically were shot with no flash. LOL!!!

here are some photos from the 1st annual pasko expo in vallejo sponsored by phase 1 entertainment.

about:
"Phase1 Entertainment Welcomes you to "PASKO EXPO" 2008. "Pasko Expo" is an event where Filipinos, and actually people of all ethnicities, can come together to celebrate the merriest time of the year….Christmas!

In the Philippines, Christmas is the most anticipated holiday of the year. With various town fiestas and parties, people gather from near and far to celebrate with friends and reunite with family. This year you will not have to miss out on any of the Christmas festivities from back home. "Pasko Expo" is here! This soon-to-be yearly celebration will have holiday lights and decorations, local and international entertainment, delicious traditional food, and much more!

The First Annual "Pasko Expo" will be held in Solano Fairgrounds, Vallejo, California. According to the New York Times, Vallejo ranks on top as the most diverse city in the United States. By holding "Pasko Expo" in such a diverse community, we will bring the love, warmth, and spirit of the Christmas in the Philippines to you, to all Filipinos, and to everyone here in America.

We, at "Pasko Expo", would like to invite you, your family, and friends to be part of this fun-filled celebration. 2008 marks our inaugural year, but with your participation and support, we all can make this an annual event to enjoy and to remember, not only for this year, but for every year from now on. Let's celebrate Christmas the way it's done in the Philippines!
